After turning 55 and experiencing some health issues I made the decision to prioritize my health. I have always been a healthy eater and exercise regularly but not with the results I had hoped. In working with the team at Loop Wellness I have a much better understanding of how my body works. For years I had felt some sort of pain in my body, fatigue and often digestive issues. I thought it was part of getting older. Then I heard that some of my issues can often be attributed to food sensitivities. I decided to try the MRT food sensitivity test. I was shocked by the results. Foods that I thought were good for me were actually causing my discomfort. I worked with Ali to develop a personalized elimination diet based on my test results, I experienced a noticeable improvement in my digestion and how much better my body felt overall. It is a life changing experience. I have more energy, less pain and feel more in control of my well-being. I have recommended the MRT test to my family and many of my friends.

I have been a patient at Loop Wellness for several years now and saw an announcement in the spring of 2024, that Loop was going to begin offering personalized wellness nutrition services. While I do consider myself a skeptic when it comes to certain things, the 8-week program with Nurse Alison (Ali) Burton has been a life changing experience. I started this program during January of this year (one of the most hectic times workwise for me) and just finished up my last consultation last week. I never thought that having your blood analyzed and seeing what certain foods could trigger would be this eye-opening. Seeing my acid-reflux disappear as well as the constant headaches I would suffer from subside, have made daily life so much better. Going forward I am going to continue to either stay away from my high triggers or at least eat them in moderation. I highly recommend anyone who is on the fence about this program to take the leap. Nurse Ali is also so easy to talk to and made this such an educational experience
